Copenhagen Zoo.

Copenhagen Zoo is without a doubt one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city, and for good reason. The 4,000 inhabitants of the enclosures are just a short drive or bus journey away from our Basecamp.

SMK – National Gallery Of Denmark.

SMK is the largest art museum in Denmark, and within its walls are some impressive displays from local and global artists alike. Go take a look to explore paintings, sculptures and graphic art comprising a 26,000 -strong collection.

Bakken.

A day out at the world’s oldest amusement park should be on everyone’s list when in Copenhagen. Located within Par Force Hunting Landscape of Jægersborg Deer Park, explore the preserved history and an 82 year old wooden roller coaster.

Tivoli Gardens.

Little known fact – Tivoli amusement park was what inspired Walt Disney World. A must-see whilst in Copenhagen, and just about a 20 minute walk from Basecamp Copenhagen City.

Amalienborg Palace.

Home to the Danish royal family, these four identical classical palace facades were initially intended for noble families, but was bought by the royal family when Christiansborg palace burned down in 1794.
